How we prepare your Placenta Capsules:
STEAMED: After the placenta is washed, it is steamed to purify and warm as believed in Traditional Chinese Medicine. This is sometimes referred to as TCM, or The Chinese Method of preparation. Once steamed, the placenta is sliced into strips and fully dehydrated at 160ºF. It takes approximately 8 – 12 hours to dehydrate completely. This method produces the least amount of capsules due to significant loss of mass during steaming.

PLACENTA TINCTURE: Extend the benefits of the placenta by having a tincture prepared that you can use after your capsules are all gone. Tincture can be saved and used to support your first postpartum menstrual cycle, and even your child’s first menstrual cycle.
